"It's Election Day" Toons

Bill Cutting and Jack Amsterdam GOTV.

Predicted downpours did not materialize -- just a few fast-moving cool front-related showers sweeping across the Deep-In-The-Hearta -- so Lone Star Republicans can't make any excuses about turnout (that they themselves are not directly responsible for).

A few people became aware of Dan Patrick's political strategist this past week. He enjoys editorial cartoons just as much as I do.

Sean Spicer Xeeted yesterday that his "sources" told him Israeli Haley Stevens would be endorsing Ken Paxton. Hat tip once again to The Onion.

Brian McFadden is not referencing the WaPo here, more the NYT, but shitty op-eds and shittier endorsements remain the hallmark of the Houston Chronicle (looking at YOU, Evan Mintz).

Nearly $2 billion spent by these free speech patriots, a quarter of it by you-know-who.

I am so old I can remember when Democrats complained about Miriam Adelson's dead husband and Republicans whined about 'just' George Soros (Blakemore's toon above, ICYMI). Their heirs seem to be hoarding their inheritance. Comparatively speaking. It's also worth noting that Mrs. Adelson and Soros and son represent opposite wings of the AIPAC Epstein Duopoly Party.

In the lead-up to the election, several centrist Democrats have unsubtly tried to undermine Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign, explicitly targeting him for his criticisms of Israel. ... (Haley) Stevens wasn’t alone. Nancy Pelosi condemned El-Sayed’s (and also Zohran Mamdani’s) positions on Israel just days before the election, seemingly agreeing with the host’s suggestion that El-Sayed is antisemitic. “It’s more than concerning, it’s wrong,” Pelosi said, adding that the position wasn’t representative of congressional Democrats.

A day later, a Pelosi spokesman emailed out a pro forma statement affirming her support for El-Sayed’s candidacy in this week’s election. Pelosi’s lukewarm support for winning a Democratic Senate majority makes her better than two well-known Democrats associated with Stevens’ losing primary campaign, mega-fundraiser David Kramer and law firm owner Jason Turkish, who have both publicly declared that they’ll vote for El-Sayed’s Republican opponent.
T-Pumpking and his minions, having consumed their Halloween treats, are expected to start yelling 'stolen election' shortly after 7 p.m. your time.
Maybe they'll step in it. Maybe they won't. We'll see.
I'm thinking we should brace for The Other Day After.
